Dolphin Statue with Tower Bridge

Situated on the north bank of the Thames near Tower Bridge, 'Girl with a Dolphin' was created by artist David Wynne in 1973.The statue sits on the waterfront outside the Tower hotel. There is a brother statue, called Boy with a Dolphin, at the Chelsea School of Art.

Like many of his sculptures, this one is noted for its depiction of movement, giving the illusion of the figures flying unsupported.
